Barstow is not a really a destination, but it does have a LOT of cool rail traffic (which is of course important to everyone). The Sante Fe railroad mainline was right next to the hotel and a train went by every couple of minutes. Theres also a big classification yard there, where they sort the freight cars. The town's claim to fame is that they are on Route 66. Posted by Hello
